We invite you for a long weekend of wonderful music in July, great performances, art, architecture and great restaurants!
Summer is a lovely, relaxed time to be in Vienna. It’s warm and the spectacular architecture looks particularly special in the sunshine. We’ll tour the historic city centre, visit the finest art museums and take breaks in traditional Viennese cafes.
The Vienna Opera Festival is an exciting new fixture on the operatic scene! Established opera singers perform alongside the Festival Young Artists providing a platform for emerging talent and rising opera stars accompanied by the excellent Festival Orchestra led by the British conductor Toby Purser. The shows are a combination of creatively operas and also concerts of opera highlights.
This year we will see Bizet’s Carmen, Verdi’s La Traviata as well as concert performances of Mozart’s Cosi fan tutte and Le nozze di Figaro.
It’s going to be a fun cultural adventure!
